Hi, are you familiar with teff? It grows in my backyard in Australia and I hear it's a staple cereal in Ethiopia. Would you know how to prepare its seed for consumption? Love your site btw, just found it today!

I hear Oregonians complaining about rain and I started to wonder if they were all nuts or something and perhaps I made a mistake moving here. I have been loving the rain most days. Yes Ive enjoyed the peeks of sunshine too. And even once or twice felt a bit of regret when the sun left us once again and the rain came in.

But I thought this was normal for here.......now Im finding out its not. So its a good thing I moved here now thinking this is normal. Imagine how happy Ill be when it is.

My yard looks like crap however and Ive not been able to do anything out there. I need raised beds and men are flaky up here it seems. But I am utterly enjoying my deck off my bedroom. I am making it a garden of Eden. I have herbs and roses and nasturtiums taking over. And shallots and onions growing too. As soon as I get more dirt, my topsy turvy will be filled with tomatoes.

It may be all I have right now but Im enjoying it. Your welcome to come visit and suck up some nature if your feeling low. :)

I knew it rained alot here and so Ive tried hard to just stay cheerful and be grateful for the liquid sunshine. But when I hear Oregonians complaining about it......I figure something must be wrong.

I went to CA. at the end of this month and the damn rain came with me. So once you live here are you contagious or something? Cuz folks down there blamed me for the unseasonal rain.

Meanwhile I come back to a yard so overgrown Ill need a gardener to get it back to normal. My grass is so high in the back yard that the rain squashed it and it looks like crop circles back there.
